I called Assurance after seeing them listed on a MassWildlife site. Joe answered the call directly, and luckily for me, he was going to be in my town for another call. He got to me about an hour after the initial call. He quickly reviewed the situation, set a ladder, and determined I had two chimney flues, one being uncapped. We went to the basement cleanout and found our visitor. With the use of some sardines, Joe was able to get our unwanted owl to vacate the cleanout. He carried him upstairs and released him to the wild. Very happy with the service.

A Wonderful Experience With Joe
I have been having a wonderful experience with Joe! He is very knowledgeable and thorough with his work. I called the company thinking I was hearing mice, and thanks to Joe’s diligence, attention to detail, and expertise, he identified that our issue was actually squirrels in our walls! He articulated his findings, went over his proposed solution, and was very clear about what I should expect, when I should expect it, and what I should be doing. Everything has played out according to what he has said thus far, and we are beyond satisfied with how things are going. We are still in the process of having the issue handled, but I don’t have any doubts it will be and am so grateful that Joe was the one sent to our house to help us out. Fred answered the phone when I called, clearly explained and put me and my wife at ease about the process, and his colleague Joe came out, same day, within the one-hour window Fred provided. That was a great start to the experience! Then, it was a pleasure to meet and hang out with Joe, who confirmed that we had a couple of squirrels entering our home through our roof, and explained the process of kindly, humanely helping them find a new place to settle down. :-) This site visit and estimate of what’s required was less than $100, and they will credit that amount on their estimate, which I expect we will receive the next business day. Refunded the $95 pest inspection fee
Aiden came out to inspect the situation we had been having with squirrels under the solar panels. Because we have a metal roof, Aiden called in his boss (Joe) for further follow-up. Joe came the next week to assess whether Assurance Pest Solutions would be able to provide squirrel exclusion around the solar panels. He told us that he was not really comfortable with working on a metal roof, but he told us he'd ask around to see whether others in his industry had some good options. Joe got back to us the following week to decline the work. He refunded us the $95 pest inspection fee since the company could not help us with our problem. I greatly appreciated Joe's further investigation of various options and the refund of the fee when the company decided that they didn't feel like they could provide a solution for our particular pest problem. Aiden and Joe were both very pleasant and explained what they were looking for and the various options that would be available if we didn't have a metal roof.

Professional to the nth degree
The gentleman who came (I believe his name was Joe) was professional to the nth degree. He surveyed the large hole that the critter had created in my garden and went over the various animals that had burrowed under my deck. He suggested that even though the hole was quite large he believed that it was caused by chipmunks and that all the rain we have been having had washed dirt away causing the increase. He suggested I fill in the existing hole with tamped-down earth and see if the critter returned. If it was a large hole then I would get back in touch with your company and set up a trap. Your technician was terrific and I want to thank him through you. PS: The hole has reopened and is small.

When an insulation installer found evidence of a large bat population in the attic and had to halt work, I called Assurance, and they came out within hours to inspect, and returned in a few days to evict the bats, then seal all possible points of entry (which includes rodents, yay!), and then clean up the mess, allowing the insulation to continue. Very professional, cannot recommend more highly.
